Based on the trends and issues in your region, understanding how to identify the right outcome to address issues affecting Canadians abroad will help in creating a targeted advocacy initiative.

- Review the different components to creating a successful advocacy initiative
- Discuss the theory of change model and how to incorporate it into an advocacy initiative
- Apply the 7-step guideline and plan an advocacy initiative
- Highlight the Consular Advocacy Initiative Fund (CAIF)
