The goal of this course is to equip employees in the face of mental illness problems of Canadian clients in distress.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:
- identify emotional reactions of Canadian clients in distress
- recognize the signs and symptoms of different mental illnesses among Canadian clients in distress
- make use of various strategies to assist Canadian clients in distress
- identify their own reactions related to professional burn out and means to prevent it
- recognize their own emotional reactions in the face of difficult situations supporting Canadian clients in distress
