Description

The course offers an analytical process and a rigorous method for the assessment of systemic inequalities, as well as a means to assess how diverse groups of women, men, and gender diverse people may experience policies, programs and other initiatives.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:

  • explain pertinent Gender-based Analysis Plus (GBA Plus) concepts and terms and their current relevance to Global Affairs Canada (GAC)
  • value the intentions and practice of GBA Plus towards achieving gender equality results for all
  • apply GBA Plus to a real world case study and identify entry points for application at GAC
  • identify one’s own positionality and assumptions and apply GBA Plus to their own work
