Description
This online course provides key information regarding the Travel Authorization and Advance (TAA) form, and the importance of communication between the signing authority (manager) and the traveller (employee). As changes to the mission structures have removed accountants, claims are audited by the Common Service Delivery Point (CSDP) finance group, there is more pressure for employees and managers to get it right the first time.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:
- complete the Request for Travel and Advance (TAA) form following the National Joint Council's Travel Directive
- discuss the process for travel approval with their manager and understand their role in its proper completion
- identify resources for travel related issues
