Description

The course gives participants an opportunity to learn more about transfer payments and the requirements that govern the department’s annual disbursement of billions through grants and contributions.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:

  • identify the principal acts establishing the regulatory and budgetary framework for transfer payments;
  • recognize the key elements of the Policy on Transfer Payments and the Directive on Transfer Payments;
  • understand differences and requirements specific to the department’s programming terms and conditions.
