Description
This online course will re-focus on the fundamentals of budget management from a program manager’s perspective. The financial structures at mission will be highlighted as well as where budgets come from, how they are allocated and how to ensure payments are made correctly. The financial management tools available as well as the function of common service delivery points and business management offices are also covered.

Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:
- describe financial roles and responsibilities (including signing authorities)
- identify the program Fund Centres used at mission
- describe the financial processes and structures under the common services delivery model
