Description

Cultural diplomacy is a diplomatic approach that harnesses the power of arts and culture to advance foreign policy priorities. As one of the facets of public diplomacy, cultural diplomacy can effectively expand Canada’s international influence by increasing access to foreign audiences including decision makers, positioning Canada as a leader on key policy issues and expanding global presence. This information session will focus on introducing the concept of cultural diplomacy, and best practices to refer to, for officers who will be responsible for cultural diplomacy at mission.
