Description

Are you a new employee, locally engaged staff (LES) or manager who wants to better understand the performance and talent management program? Or an experienced employee, LES or manager who would benefit from a refresher course?

The session is designed to help prepare employees, LES or managers for the Performance and Talent Management Program cycle. Topics include SMART work objectives, competencies, learning and development plan and a talent management plan or performance improvement plans when required.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this session, participants will be able to:

  • identify the key elements and principles of the performance and talent management program for employees and locally engaged staff
  • explain their roles and responsibilities related to performance and talent management
  • describe the different components of a performance agreement and how to establish efficient performance expectations
  • explain the rating scale and the governance process for the year-end exercise
