Description
This course builds employees’ confidence and skills to intervene when witnessing inappropriate workplace behaviours, including those that could lead to harassment or discrimination. Participants will learn to recognize situations requiring intervention, identify effective strategies, and apply practical bystander skills to foster a respectful, safe, and healthy workplace.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:
- Develop their knowledge of brave spaces for workplace wellness by understanding oneself and others as change agents
- Identify Bystander Intervention responses and the employee-to-employee behavior continuum in the workplace
- Apply Bystander Intervention skills by analyzing and role-playing "real life" scenarios and developing responses
