Description

Grounded in Indigenous ways of knowing, listening circles create a brave space to share and deepen understanding of diverse perspectives through meaningful reflection and authentic connection. Listening circles are intended to help participants process events by providing a non-judgmental space to share and listen to one another’s experiences and insights about current or anticipated changes. While not intended for problem-solving or debate, they have been shown to promote well-being when facing adversity and build trust among staff and leadership

Note: The Office of the Well-being Ombud is offering listening circles to support staff in navigating the challenges associated with the Comprehensive Expenditure Review (CER) at Global Affairs Canada.
