The course offers an introduction to Gender-Based Analysis plus (GBA+) applied to policy work as a means for advancing Canada’s Feminist Foreign Policy, Feminist International Assistance Policy and Inclusive Approach to Trade. It demonstrates the importance of GBA+ in ensuring contextual evidence supports policy making and provides participants with the opportunity to learn practical skills to deliver on Canada’s diplomatic, international assistance and trade agendas.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:
- understand the role of GBA+ in policy work to advance Canada’s feminist approach
- demonstrate a results-based approach to policy work
- apply GBA+ in policy work to address contextual challenges
- address specific contextual challenges and opportunities through policy work
