This course will enable participants to explore of the political framework guiding environmental action at Global Affairs Canada to ensure that appropriate environmental sustainability considerations are integrated in international development initiatives

- explain the links between environmental sustainability, climate resilience and poverty reduction
- describe the policy and regulatory frameworks that guide GAC’s environmental vision and action
- identify environmental risks and opportunities, as well as associated measures
