This online course provides Trade Commissioners with the fundamentals of the science, technology and innovation (STI) landscape in Canada and explains how the TCS works to support STI, in order for you to support the STI needs of our clients.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:

• recognize Canada’s global contributions to STI
• identify the Government of Canada’s role in these fields
• recall the four elements of the commercialization process
• recognize TCS clients and partners
• identify tools and processes for internal planning, tracking and reporting
