This course is an introduction to sexual exploitation, abuse and sexual harassment (SEA/H) in international assistance, as well as your role as a Global Affairs Canada (GAC) staff member in its prevention and response.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to: 

• explain key sexual exploitation, abuse and sexual harassment concepts and departmental commitments in the context of international assistance
• clarify the roles and responsibilities of GAC staff and partners in preventing and responding to sexual exploitation, abuse and sexual harassment
• assess sexual exploitation, abuse and sexual harassment risks and apply appropriate strategies to support prevention and response efforts
