Description

The goal of this course is to enable staff at Global Affairs Canada (GAC) to develop strategies for integrating a human rights-based approach (HRBA) into their international assistance work.

 

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:

• describe how an HRBA contributes to the effectiveness and sustainability of Canada’s international assistance policies and programs

• explain the principles and methodology that advance the realization of human rights through international assistance initiatives

• assess the scope of an HRBA integrated into the key design and implementation elements of GAC supported international assistance initiatives
