This information session is designed to provide an overview of the Foreign Service Directives (FSDs), their application, administration and interpretation.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this information session, participants will be able to:

• understand the Foreign Service Directives (FSDs), related provisions and the procedures that may impact their assignment outside Canada

Notes: This session is highly recommended for employees who have been on posting previously.

The session is open to Government of Canada employees and provincial co-locators who are posted to one of Canada’s missions abroad.
