To register for this course, you must first complete one of the following:
Learning, Unlearning and Relearning: A Pathway to Anti-Racism (DI102)

Offered in response to Global Affairs Canada’s Anti-Racism Strategy 2021-2026, this course is intended for executives to develop strategies in supporting the organization in combatting racism. The Anti-racism Employee Survey 2023 states that “it is essential to build and maintain confidence in senior management’s ability to address issues and strengthen their commitment to anti-racism by demonstrating tangible results over time”.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:

  • develop an understanding of what racism and systemic racism is
  • recognize the negative progression through the cycle of racial discrimination and how it manifests in the workplace
  • develop a shared understanding of the role and what actions leaders and supervisors can take to address racism, systemic racism and racial discrimination
