This course will build participants' understanding of the conceptual framework and significance of the Triple Nexus and the Triple Nexus Approach.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:

• advocate for a Triple Nexus approach vis à vis their counterparts, partners, and others in their sphere of influence
• identify the comparative advantage of each of the three pillars of the Triple Nexus and opportunities for collaboration
• identify and apply tools and mechanisms currently available and under development at Global Affairs Canada to operationalize the Triple Nexus
• conduct a rapid conflict analysis and identify resources to conduct a more systems-based, gender sensitive conflict analysis
• apply a conflict sensitive approach to assessing and designing engagements and interventions
