This course aims to facilitate the use of Gender-based Analysis Plus (GBA+) for a systematic integration of gender equality concerns in diplomatic reporting, particularly as it relates to peace, security and stability in a global context. It supports Canada’s Feminist Foreign Policy and helps with the implementation of the National Action Plan for Women, Peace and Security.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:
- understand the role of GBA+ for integrating gender equality concerns in identifying and reporting on peace, security and stability issues
- apply GBA+ in network management, interview techniques, diplomatic reporting, and client outreach
- generate holistic reporting that considers gender equality and addresses specific contextual challenges & opportunities
