Description

This online course provides Trade Commissioners with an overview to link specific trade policy concepts found in most free trade agreements (FTAs) to improved client service and the tasks associated with the duties of a Trade Commissioner.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:

  • identify six trade policy principles and concepts contained in free trade agreements (FTAs) that are relevant to Trade Commissioner responsibilities
  • identify which FTA experts can help answer client enquiries
  • recall 6 steps in the life-cycle of an FTA
  • locate resources related to FTAs
