Description

The program, by invitation only, is a mandatory integration program for new Foreign Service Officers joining Global Affairs Canada. It supports officers in development of core competencies, skills and knowledge through course-based core and stream specific training, a cross-Canada engagement research project, and mentorship.

Program Objectives

  • onboard new foreign services to the department
  • prepare new foreign service officers for a career in foreign service
  • contribute to the development of GAC’s base international behavioural competencies
