Description
The Authorized Programming Process (APP) is the standardized programming process for the (high-level) design, assessment, approval, and implementation of all international development initiatives at Global Affairs Canada. Using the process ensures that all programming complies with the laws, policies, and regulations governing Canadian international assistance.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:
- explain how the APP helps to ensure that international development projects are compliant with the laws, policies, directives and regulations that govern the management of international assistance programming
- identify the appropriate selection mechanism in different circumstances
- communicate with partners appropriately
