Description

This dialogue-based session offers international assistance staff an opportunity to deepen their understanding of their role in implementing gender equality within programming.

Staff will gain insight into the roles of Gender Equality (GE) Specialists and prevention from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) Analysts and explore critical ways to collaborate with them using key Global Affairs Canada tools and resources to support the effective integration of GE and PSEA into programming.

Learning objectives

Upon completion of this session, participants will be able to:

  • describe the function of GE Specialists and PSEA Analysts
  • identify strategies for effective collaboration with GE Specialists to achieve GE results
  • describe key tools and resources that support GE and PSEA integration into programming
