Description
Designed to develop and strengthen your intercultural competencies, the training will help you understand the influence of culture on behaviour, learn about similarities and gaps in cultural trends, understand communication styles, practice intercultural decoding and develop strategies to bridge cultural gaps.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:
- understand their intercultural effectiveness profile
- recognize the influence of cultural trends on living and working in an international context
- practice intercultural decoding
- identify their communication style
- recognize the stages of the intercultural adaptation/transition cycle
- get practical ideas/tips for better intercultural interaction
Notes:
This course is part of the pre-posting training program. Spouses and partners are encouraged to attend when possible.
