Please note

The in-person and virtual versions of this course spread across 3 days in 3 hour sessions.

The course will assist participants in building and refining their intercultural skills for use in positions of management in Canadian missions.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:

  • list and explain key competencies for managing in an intercultural context
  • identify potential cultural biases in their management style
  • explain cultural variances in conflict resolution
  • elaborate possible strategies for building their intercultural management competencies in a postings environment
  • demonstrate strategies for role modelling cross-cultural sensitivity to their team
