Description

Please note

The classroom course is delivered over 4 full days, while the virtual version is spread across 8 days in 3.5-hour sessions.

This course prepares new or returning supervisors for success in missions abroad by enhancing leadership skills in an international and intercultural context. Participants will explore communication styles, team dynamics, performance management, and relationship-building through interactive activities and self-assessments.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:

  • adopt a management approach and leadership style tailored to situations and individuals
  • practice how to give feedback and effectively manage performance
  • discuss and demonstrate effective interpersonal communication skills
  • develop strategies to resolve cultural dilemmas in an effective way
  • devise a plan for stepping into your role as a supervisor and engaging with your team
