Description

The purpose of this course is to provide the necessary knowledge and tools to all the Liaison Officers and Back-up Liaison Officers involved in the Access to Information and Privacy (ATIP) process.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:

• describe the process related to the processing of requests received under the Access to Information Act and the Privacy Act
• describe the roles and responsibilities of a Liaison Officer vis-à-vis ATIP
• explain the coordination of ATIP requests and consultations
