Description

The purpose of this online course is to strengthen understanding of the department’s values and expected behaviours, and obligations and responsibilities as public servants. It provides tools and resources to support ethical decision-making and promote a respectful and ethical workplace. 

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:

  • make appropriate decisions that are consistent with the Departmental Values and Ethics Code, when presented with ethical issues and dilemmas in the workplace
  • know where to turn for advice and guidance
  • use tools and resources to effectively support ethical decision-making
  • understand the key competencies that support an ethical and respectful workplace
