Information about ‘Third Culture Kid’ will be provided to try to understand the reality for these tweens/teens.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this session, participants will be able to:
• identify solutions to tween/teen reactions and challenges to moving abroad
• explore strategies and best practices to assist parents
• outline the concept of ‘Third Culture Kid’
Notes: This session is part of the pre-posting training program. Spouses and partners are encouraged to attend when possible.
Government of Canada employees will need to contact Learning-Apprentissage@international.gc.ca to determine eligibility and registration procedures for their spouses and partners.
