Description
Part II of the Canada Labour Code governs the health and safety of employees for workplaces under federal jurisdiction. This course will allow you to acquire general knowledge on the Code and its application.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:
- identify their rights and duties as they relate to occupational health and safety (OHS) at work
- identify the respective responsibilities and duties of the employer and of the OHS committees/representatives
- recognize and report hazards in the workplace, both in Canada and abroad
- access key OHS tools and resources
Note: Employees must re-valid this training every three years.
