Description

This information session will assist you for your preparation before your departure. This session includes specific resources, practical health tips, and real-life case studies that will prepare you for situations that may arise during your assignment.

 

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this information session, participants will be able to:

• identify resources available at Corporate Health Programs (HWH) at Global Affairs Canada

• choose their assignment according to their health situation

• prevent health problems while posted abroad

• familiarize themselves with practical advice before going abroad

• manage various health problems on assignment such as the occurrence of an illness, management of medication abroad, mental health, a critical health situation

Notes: The session is open to Government of Canada employees and provincial co-locators who are posted to one of Canada’s missions abroad.
