Description

This online course consisting of four modules will provide employees with an introduction to key concepts and theories in economics with an emphasis on Canadian interests.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:

  • identify economics concepts and strategic questions
  • recognize the impact of changes in demand and supply on market outcomes
  • examine the concepts of elasticity of demand and supply
  • recognize what happens when governments intervene in the market
  • identify how firms operate under different market structures
