This online course consisting of four modules will provide employees with an introduction to key concepts and theories in economics with an emphasis on Canadian interests

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:

• identify basic macroeconomic concepts
• recognize the key determinants of economic growth
• examine other core macroeconomic issues, such as unemployment, inflation and budget deficits
• identify strategic and macroeconomic-related questions
