This online course will equip participants with the skills and knowledge needed to apply official protocol guidelines when organizing official events and visits abroad.
Learning Objectives:
Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:
- determine the mission’s and headquarters’ role and responsibilities in organizing an official visit
- identify Canadian and host country sources and resources to inform decisions on the protocol for official events and visits
- apply principles of precedence to guest placement and flag display, in the context of official visits and events
