Description

This course will seek to facilitate a better understanding of Global Affairs Canada (GAC)’s departmental vision and requirements for policy coherence, introduce participants to their individual career learning roadmaps, and create a sense of community among new recruits. Learning modules will focus on developing core competencies for officers working on international files in a global environment.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:

• demonstrate an understanding of key areas of GAC engagement
• understand core competencies required for GAC officers
• integrate policies, tools and competencies that support coherent delivery of departmental mandate
• identify key resources and career planning tools
