Description
The course covers all Readiness Program Manager (RPM) responsibilities and touches on the soft skills required for their role.
Learning Objectives
At the end of the training program, participants will be able to:
- explain their role in ensuring that the Department meets its duty of care obligations to its employees and their dependents
- identify the tools and resources available to them in their capacity as lead on Security and Emergency Management
- use a risk-based approach, assessing available threat and vulnerability information, to formulate security recommendations to the Head of Mission in an effort to ensure the security of people, information and assets, and facilitate mission operations
- manage the Readiness program at mission, including budget and personnel
Note: Registration is by invitation only. The training provider will contact employees to coordinate registration if they are eligible based on their position or role at mission.
