Description
The course is designed to familiarize employees who occupy the position of Readiness Manager (RM) or Deputy Readiness Manager (DRM) with the roles they will be expected to assume in the mission with respect to personnel security. Information, assets and emergency management.
Learning Objectives
At the end of the training program, participants will be able to:
- explain their role in ensuring that the Department meets its duty of care obligations to its employees and their dependents
- identify and use the tools and resources available to them in their capacity as RM
- use a risk-based approach, assessing available threat and vulnerability information, to formulate security recommendations to the Head of Mission in an effort to ensure the security of people, information and assets, and facilitate mission operations
Note: Registration is by invitation only. The training provider will contact employees to coordinate registration if they are eligible based on their position or role at mission.
