This course is designed to familiarize participants who are identified as Readiness and Security Program Officers (RSPO) with the role they have at mission.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:
- understand the department's role and framework as it relates to Security and Emergency Management
- identify mission threats, risks and possible mitigation measures
- identify and use different security and emergency management documents
- understand the role of the RSPO and those of key stakeholders and partners
- describe the basic principles of emergency management and use the systems, processes and resources related to Emergency Management
- find information, tools and resources available in the department related to Security and Emergency Management
