Description
This course expands upon the International Financial Institutions (IFIs) and Climate Finance course to ensure that participants appreciate the challenges and success factors for winning procurement contracts and/or securing finance from IFIs such as the Caribbean Development Bank.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:
- identify the specific institutions (IFIs and climate funds) that operate within the region and their unique characteristics, priorities and mode of operation
- recognize the role of key partners and contacts involved in the IFI and climate finance markets within the region and how they might support Trade Commissioner Service clients in securing opportunities
