Description

This course aims at presenting the key concepts covered in Free Trade Agreements and offering an overview of the agreement(s) relevant to your market. It includes the Canada-European Union Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) , the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP) and the Canada-United States-Mexico Agreement (CUSMA). The course covers topics of interest such as rules of origin and public procurement, as well as tools and resources available to trade commissioners and practical exercises that allow to apply the acquired knowledge.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:

  • summarize the basic structure, benefits and key chapters
  • identify where to go to find more information
  • describe their role in providing support to clients
