Enhancing Intercultural Competency at Mission
In this two-part training, learners will develop a deeper understanding of intercultural competency and its impact on workplace dynamics, and also engage in intercultural dialogue between LES and CBS employing brave space principles. In part one, learners will explore their own intercultural profile, identifying strengths and areas for growth. Through discussions and activities, learners will gain a clearer understanding of what culture entails and why it plays a critical role in all interactions.

This course provides specialized training grounded in GAC’s context for staffing selection processes both in Canada and a mission. Evidence-Based Decision Making
This course is available to other government department employees on a cost-recovery basis. This course will help participants learn how to make better use of evidence and data to make strong and supported policy recommendations. It will introduce a data analytics methodology using specific examples and then follow up with a practical component including group work designed to solve a real-life problem that the department is facing.
Excel: Managing Lists and Databases (Headquarters)
This course at the intermediate/advanced level teaches participants how to use the many file management tools and checkers available in Excel 2010. Participants will learn how to add and edit tables, perform sort and filter operations, and how to use Excel as a database. Participants will learn about Excel's automatic grouping, outlining, and subtotalling features.
