Diplomacy 201: Diplomacy in the Digital Era
This course is available to other government department employees on a cost-recovery basis. This course is for learners wanting to deepen their understanding of how diplomacy in the digital era has evolved by examining the ways in which governments are using the Internet and emerging technologies to gather information, share ideas and build national identities on the domestic and international stage. The course will also map out how technology impacts human rights, trade and security dimensions of diplomacy while drawing on the power dynamics in foreign policy that play out through technology.
