Protection of Civilians in Armed Conflict and Other Situations of Violence
This course is available to other government department employees on a cost-recovery basis. This course examines the legal, policy and operational aspects of the protection of civilians in armed conflict and other situations of violence. Founded on international humanitarian law, human rights law and refugee law, the course will provide diverse perspectives from humanitarian organizations as well as subject matter experts from the department with extensive policy and field experience.
